Thank you for your interest in the CFAB Scholarship! We’re proud to support the future of Alaska’s entrepreneurs.
Please check back next year for another opportunity to apply.
The CFAB Scholarship Fund
The CFAB Scholarship Fund encourages young Alaskans, whose families earn their livelihoods from fishing, agriculture, tourism, and natural resource industries, to continue their education beyond high school. Assisting in developing future community leaders through education is vital to the communities, industries, and families CFAB serves.
Applications are processed through our third party scholarship fund partner, and we anticipate awarding multiple scholarships in 2026. Final number and award amounts will be announced following fund review.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be:
• Under age 26 and an Alaska resident
• A child, descendant, or spouse of a CFAB member, employee, or director
• A candidate for a degree or certificate at an accredited college, trade school, apprenticeship, or vocational-technical school
To help verify eligibility, applicants are strongly encouraged to include an attestation statement in their application such as:“I am the daughter/son/spouse of CFAB Member [Name] #[Member Number].”
Applications without eligibility verification may not be considered.
